How long do I have to pursue a claim?
You have a period of three years from the date of your accident to issue a claim. In the case of children, the period is extended to their 21st birthday.
Is there any need for me to be worried if my claim will be against my employer, a friend or a relative?
We will offer full advice on your particular claim. Our team is experienced in dealing with such matters and are fully aware of the specialist handling that such claims may require. We keep you advised throughout your claim and act upon your instructions.
Several members of my family/ friends were involved in the same accident. Can we all make a claim?
Yes. Each claim will, however, be pursued separately and each person who wishes to make a claim will need to instruct a solicitor separately. It is not essential for the same solicitor to act for every person wishing to make a claim. However, if the same solicitor does act for each person, it may assist in bringing the matter to a successful conclusion as quickly as possible.
It is not essential for every person involved in the accident to decide to make a claim.
How long will my claim take?
All Personal Injury claims are governed by a legal timetable and an opponent is given a three month period to investigate the allegations made against them once full details of your claim have been provided.
Following this time, the duration of the claim can vary depending upon its complexity. We will keep you updated on your claim at all times.
Can my claim be funded by a no win, no fee agreement?
A no win, no fee agreement is a popular method of funding for a personal injury claim. Upon receipt of your application we will consider our claim carefully to see if this method of funding is suitable for your claim.
